The sun feeds the plants, and the plants nourish us. A quiet catalyst for connection, weaving together the living quilt of life here on earth. These vineyard sites hold that same sense of interconnectedness and reflect it back through the wines. They are living things, still carrying the energy of the sun within them. Always changing, evolving, growing until that energy is passed along to us.

I am a full-time farmer, caring for the vineyard sites that grow the grapes for this project. My curiosity has always been rooted in the earth and trying to understand it, from studying geology in college to years spent backpacking through different landscapes, and eventually working full-time as a viticulturist and gardener. Still, nothing has deepened that relationship quite like farming these sites myself. It has become the most powerful lesson in connection, and in understanding a place as a living whole.

My hope is that when you drink these wines, you think about the land they come from and feel that connection somewhere deeper in your heart.
